This site will help the user to select Location tiles from the world map which is divided into 72 columns and 60 Rows. Tile Selection Methods are as follows;
 
Display Info
With mouse move Latitude and Longitude is displayed to the correct 2nd decimal place, and relevant tile numbers are also displayed related to X / Y directions. Help instructions are dynamically refreshed with each of the following Selection Mode.
 
Area Selection Modes
 
   Multiple Selection   Many tiles can be selected at random locations. These selected tiles are listed in the results page for download.
 
   Enable Mouse Drag   With mouse drag, an area can be selected. This area will be marked on the Map. Only one area can be selected at a time. Results page will display description of each tile belonging to this marked area
 
   Input Coordinates   User can input co-ordinates of their choice, in different modes (Decimal Input, Deg/Min/Sec). Minimum and Maximum extremes have to be specified for both longitude and latitude. 
User should select the preferred method for inputting the co-ordinates. SRT engine will calculate the most suitable tile selection and will highlight the area when click on "Mark Area". Before executing the "Display Thumbnail" the relevant area should be input and marked. When "Display Thumbnail" selected, tiles will be displayed for the area that was marked in the world map. Also to clear the map from selection user can click on "Clear Area"
 
Download Data Items and their Types
There are two items of data that is available which are:
SRTM Data
SRTM Mask Data
For above data items two types are available with download.
GeoTiff
ArcInfo ASCII

With the search selection page user can select which data item that he/she prefers to download with selecting the relevant option buttons from GeoTiff/ArcInfo ASCII

Download Items
User can click on Download to download the data file. Also user can use download client programs and log these download items for group-downloads by clicking at each preferred download link.
